After about 15 minutes, the Spaghetti all'Assassina are ready.
The unusual name of this recipe (Spaghetti all’assassina means Murder’s spaghetti) is a clue to its bold character and unconventional preparation. The spaghetti are first allowed to stick to the pan and then cooked directly in it by pouring a hearty broth made with double tomato concentrate. This culinary trick helps create a rich and flavorful base, enveloping the spaghetti in an irresistible burst of taste. Garlic and chili pepper add an even more explosive charge of flavor.
The magic happens as the spaghetti slowly absorb the broth, transforming into a captivating dish that combines the simplicity of the ingredients with the complexity of flavors.
Mutti’s double concentrate, with its intense red color and explosive flavor derived from the concentration of about 6 tomatoes per tube, is the true key ingredient of this recipe. If you add to this all the creaminess and sweetness of Mutti Passata, the result will be an extraordinarily rich and flavorful dish.
