Tips and tricks for the best smashed potatoes pizzas

Here are some tips for making the best smashed potatoes mini pizzas:

  1. Choose potatoes with similar shapes and sizes so that they cook evenly.
  2. For the tastiest, softest smashed potatoes pizzas, opt for yellow or white flesh potatoes, which contain less starch than floury potatoes.
  3. The perfect cooking: boiling potatoes instead of baking or frying them will help keep them soft in the center and crisp on the outside.
  4. The right amount of sauce: Avoid putting too much tomato sauce on the potatoes, otherwise you risk making the pizzas too moist and they will not maintain their crispy exterior.
  5. Using a non-stick pan will help get a crispier crust without the potatoes sticking to the pan.
  6. Get creative with delicious toppings. Once the base is ready, add a touch of extra flavor and color to the pizzas with fresh basil, or with arugula and sautéed mushrooms or sausage and gorgonzola cheese.

By following these tips, you will be able to prepare perfect potato pizzas. Enjoy your meal!
